Everything takes place over the course of a weekend, in a provincial hotel by the river. A family threatened by the hotel's bankruptcy and torn apart by jealousy and heartbreak, but above all by the inability to love and be a mother. Three groups of guests settle in for the weekend, each seeking to resolve their crises. Within the confines of this waterfront hotel, love and heartbreak are revealed, along with frustrated lives and ill-fated passions.
